Divineby TejComment: Beautiful light you captured. I'd love to see a little more detail on the ground and not have things so cramped but that's just me. Good luck! |

Dune Trekby fulgentComment: The main thing this has going for it in my opinion is the sense of scale but you've minimized that to some extent by going with a squarish composition. Perhaps that was just a compromise of having to deal with the limits DPC sets on dimensions but ideally I rather see this much wider or possibly taller to really get that sense of scale and pull me into the scene. |

Soaring highby ShutterPugComment: I understand that a shot like this isn't easy so I can see why you entered it but having seen so many of this ilk before, it's difficult to get excited about seeing another one. I would just say keep at it and try to find more unique looking moments of this bird to capture. |

Torsos and Treesby JeffryZComment: Very strange. I love the tones, detail and the way you composed the elements together. |

Ice blueby danielvComment: Overall good headshot but the hair is a little too sharp. It exhbits too much aliasing, which is mostly evident with the isolated strands. Not a huge deal but I mention it since its noticeable. |

Splashby ShutterHackComment: My only critique would be the composition which is a bit underwelming, but overall a good stop action photo. |

Faithby Travis99Comment: Lots of contrasting elements and subtities here. The way in which this was captured, the two exits are very symbolic of the two people on the benches. The white old man is alone, isolated in the corner much like the bright exit. He wants to be alone and is. Perhaps his faith is being called into question. Meanwhile, the young woman, in the shadows is also alone but doesn't want to be. She sits close to the aisle in the hopes of human contact perhaps. Her faith seems stronger as a result.
Although this appears to have been shot at the time of a wedding, it plays more like a funeral due to your rendering and composition. Perhaps this is all just an exercise of introspection and the elements you've found tethered together in meaning are more representive of your own feelings of faith, of people, of the moments inbetween. Whatever the purpose this is a thought provoking image. Thank you for entering it. |
