I really like the detail in the highlights and the color is really good. I wish there was more lighting on the stem but that's just a nitpick. The composition serves it's purpose but nothing more. Good luck!

Really good composition here. The two strong lines running up are complimented nicely by the bright green leaves to the right. On the negative, I don't feel DPC voters value everyday subjects like this even though this does NOT look like a snap shot. As such I think maybe you should have converted this to b/w or duotone or a selective desaturation leaving only the green color present. That along with the interesting composition would have added more impact, IMO. Good luck!

Nice capture and the POV feels right for the challenge. The image could use a bump in contrast but otherwise is solid. Just as an added suggestion, maybe try and get more of the sky in the background next time. That would have given this a lot more wow, IMO.

I agree with posthumous. To add the crop works really well here. What might be kinda cool is to have more of the image be revealed in thinner slices to the right sorta like a triptych.

Looks like there's a bit of a color cast/haze going on and also a bit low on the contrast side. I think if both were corrected this would have scored over a 6.
