Midnightby JustinMComment: Very nice work converting the scene into night. The crescent moon however looks very fake. If you look at actual photos of the crescent moon the outer edge is sharp while the inner edge is soft and/or has a gradient that fades off into the darkness. Irish Eyesby fencekickerComment: Good photo. Her expression is very pleasant. I'm glad you didn't neatimage her as that typically ruins a portrait and turns it into a glamour shot. The only aspect I would critize is her lack of "environment". While I do like the close up aspect I wish there was something in the background of substance to give more personality. |

languishing lilyby IreneMComment: Shoot, only gave this one a 5. :( I guess it didn't stand out when I came across it. |

Girl from the Northby IreneMComment: Definitely underrated. Seems like a few of the commenters didn't like her expression. I wonder if you edited this differently if those people would have changed their mind. For example, an edit that enhanced a more somber tone say a b/w conversion with the midtones darkened. While the colors are good I wonder if that produced mix messages with what people were seeing in her expression. |
