The Stand-Offby FromacComment: That lazy cat probably wouldn't know what he/she would be getting into in a fight with that squirrel. :P |

Abandonedby LalliSigComment: I wish there was a little more clarity in the shot but otherwise it's very good. |

Gothic, take twoby MelethiaComment: Hmm. I guess I'm in the minority. I much prefer the other version. I think the reason the other version isn't getting it's fair due is because of the size restrictions at DPC. I'd love to see that one printed huge. This one is ok and certainly focuses more on the people. However, if that was your intent you should have shot it landscape rather than going with a patchwork crop.
Btw, I do love the b/w and the distortions! |

Cliveby cpanaiotiComment: He seems very shy and like an outcast. He's barely in the frame and away from the others. There's a lot of division going on. The nearby tree acts almost as a barrier to the other horses and the shallow DOF enhances that separation as does the perpendicular line they form. I'm not sure a better composition exist! |

Not sure what to make of the white tag or is that a letter in his pocket? There's not enough surrounding detail to make out which is it. It has a strong presence in the shot so if it didn't hold much significance I would try and minimize it in the editing. |

Duck Day 3by KatmystiryComment: I like how the vertical lines add tension to the wake as it slices horizontally. |
