Still on the moveby MAKComment: I wish you didn't selectively desaturated it. I assume that was done to hide the differences between what's real and what isn't? You did a great job lining things up but to me it still looks like an actual painting being photographed in front of a real table. |

d r e n c h e dby hotpastaComment: Good idea. I think you would have had more success if you either went with a longer exposure so the water looks smoother or a shorter exposure time to freeze the water completely. Either one would have carried more wow factor than the inbetween state you went with. Just a thought. |

The Roundaboutby SoulMan1978Comment: One thing that makes still life what it is, is the break from the candid/documentary technique. While some of the cars are still they don't make for a convincing still life because this is just documenting what you saw. In other words, you didn't set this shot up. |

Portrait of a Baseballby smurfguyComment: A heck of a capture but for me you've only met the motion aspect of this challenge.
Returning to bump this up. It has grown on me since first viewing it. One thing that this has that others don't is a sense of creation. This doesn't exist if you don't make it happen so in that respect it's much like still life. Also, I can't help but appreciate the reversal of still vs motion you did in this shot. The ball should be in motion but it's not and the players who should be more stationary than the ball is in motion thanks to the motion blur. Clever photo. |

Peppers in the Poolby sfaliceComment: Good composition. I see the motion part but for me it seems to only exist to meet the challenge. I wish it played a bigger, more meaningful role, in the shot. Other than that not a bad shot. Good luck. |

Kitchen Counter Bowlingby chaliceComment: Perhaps on the silly side but at least it seems to meet the challenge theme, which so many others failed to do. Good luck. |
