day1_after.jpgby loveComment: I like the idea of darkening her face area for the reasons you gave but for me the face just looks underexposed rather than cast in more shadow, which I believe is what you was going for. The reason for this is the orignal shadows along the edges of her face still have a sharp transition to them, which suggests bright harsh light should be present on the face but now isn't there. So what you would need to do to "sell" the new shadow you're adding is to change that original shadow on her face from the sharp edge it has currently to something a lot softer. Ideally it shouldn't even have an edge any more, just a smooth gradient transition from darks to lights.
Just my opinion of course. :) |

After.jpgby FotoMunkiComment: I like it. Since she's not making eye contact I wonder if darkening the glasses might enhance the glamour/fashion like feel. |

Flying Highby ccaComment: Nice action shot but you really needed to be on the other side to make this more effective (i.e. you would have captured their faces better). |

The Hitchhickerby panderbearComment: I like how you cropped her head off. However in doing so the leading line leads you straight to her behind, which may not be a bad thing but it makes it more like a photo for a jeans ad. If that's what you're going for then this is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. If not then a landscape orientation would have been better, IMO. It would allow more of the road on the right to be shown and thus it would shift the leading line over to the right and that way it would guide the eye towards her destination rather than her behind, if that makes sense. |
