Eagle Nebula, M16 by CyMaNComment: Looks like an image pulled right off the page of Sagan's Cosmos book. Fine work. Congrats! |

doors day 5by onesaintComment: I like the choice going b/w. Not only does it put the emphasis on the textures which I find more interesting than the color but it also lowers the focal point from mid-left to mid-bottom (at least for me). In the color version my eyes go straight to the bright part of the leaves (i.e. mid-left) which then leads me upward to the building in the background and out of the photo where as in the b/w I start out much lower due to the darker shadows at the mid-bottom and then read the rest of the image from the very bottom to the top. |

"Where's your ball?"by Bear_MusicComment: This may just be me being pessimistic but I feel voters in general don't care about stories in photographs especially when accompanied by a title that tries to explain part or all of it. I'm pretty sure had you just showed the dog's face and gave it some profound or poetic title your score would have fetched a higher score. Lame pun, I know! |

The Fawns of Dawn by yankoComment: Originally posted by Magno: My initial thoughts were right! Congratulations on your blue - much deserved. I just wish you weren't as good as you are, because it sure as hell makes me depressed knowing what you can do in pp, and knowing how inadequate I am at it too!!! lol.
I'm going to start a petition, to get you to reveal your secrets and give us a tutorial. All in favour say 'I'. Lol. |
I added my editing steps. It's probably not exactly what you're looking for. If I have time I'll see if I can write something a bit more indepth. In the past I have posted how I do things. If you look in my photo composite gallery there are some there that explains in more indepth the steps including some threads about it. Nothing I've done here is any different than what I've been doing before. |
