It's too bad the subject is sepia because it ruins an otherwise nice shot for me. It looks too much like a picture taped to the window or placed inside the car. (perhaps it is). Maybe it is the umbrella as well which is a non sequitur inside the car. Nice sharp DOF though and nice composition. Still a 6, but could have been higher.

nice concept. I do like the blue in a field of gray. The slight OOF on the right is a bit distracting. maybe it is the highlight rather than the DOF that is the distraction. Some burning may have been good there. 6

Nice framing. I like the background (compared to other "ordinary" backgrounds I've seen). The flowers add just enough color to an otherwise very monotoned image. I w ould have made the window bars perfectly vertical. 6

Nice colors and composition. Could you have zoomed back just a bit to see more of the framing window? the red and blue contrast nicely and I like the warm tones of the bread. The bread on the left looks just a bit soft. 6

Beauty in an Ordinary Neighborhood Window

I know we couldn't control everything seen through the windows we picked, but the house behind sorta detracts from the rest of the picture. I like the fence, but not the house. I also personally like selective desat, but there are lots on this site who do not (so fair warning). The dual colored flowers split by the vertical bar is a nice touch. I'm not sure I would have left the glass? on the far left in color. 6
