Technicals: a bit overexposed. The sides of the tombstones are quite blown. Composition isn't bad, but my eye wants to see at least a little of another row to the right to balance it.
Feel: A bit static. I guess death is static, but something makes me think a better composition could have been found.

The Doorway

Techicals: Nicely lit steeple. The tree is fuzzed probably because of a slight breeze and a long exposure. It also dominates the canvas a bit too much.
Feel: Subtle. It actually took me 30 seconds to see the graveyard in the corner. Does have a eerie quality to it.

Technicals: good composition, good lighting. Sharp DOF. I like the star effect.
Feel: There are going to be a zillion graveyard shots. I'm getting this one very early, but I think it's gonna have that little extra zip to raise it above the others.

Paradise Lost

Technicals: lighting is fairly good. I wish we didn't have the line in the background. Using one piece of whatever for your background can remove this. Composition is fairly static.
The Feel: I like the idea. Creative with the title. There isn't a whole lot of "wow" here. Still life shots can have wow with creative lighting or a dynamic composition. That's lacking here.

This is what I'm talking about! I love a story like that and it gets lost in the 5.8 score. Nice shot. It's too bad the star trails were the size they were. it's probably what hurt the shot as they are too short and look more like blur than trails. A 5 minute exposure probably would have made this a winning shot!
