Little Angel Lostby Jaded_HousewifeComment: Technicals: I like the B&W idea but feel the conversion could have been done better to add a bit more drama. The ribbon on her face is in an unfortunate position and makes it look almost like headgear or something. Composition is nice although a bit centered.
Feel: I like the feel.

Feel: I think this gets the dreaded moniker of "snapshot". It's just too centered and too obvious in its composition. Does capture death and has the extra "wow" of being a celebrity.

Ratheadby unknowndeathComment: Technicals: looks noisy, but I'm not sure if that's what I'm really seeing. The problem is it's color noise and that has far fewer applcations to a nice feel as monochrome noise (ie. grain). Composition is static. What about a diagonal composition?
Feel: captures death, but does not capture my attention.

Deadly Reflectionby BlackboxComment: Technicals: nice composition. DOF is good, although maybe I crave just a bit more or even less. Lighting is nice. The reflection is a creative idea.
Feel: I tend to vote down gun shots out of a simple bias of being a pediatrician, but I'm overlooking that for this challenge.

A Rose in its Death Throesby dbambrickComment: Technicals: overexposed with harsh lighting on the subject. The background is fine, but the subject is too bright. Crop and composition are reasonable.
Feel: pretty static. I'm not getting past the exposure.

End of Trailby PhilXT350Comment: Technicals: bold crop. The composition has good and bad. I like the balance of the 3 prints, but don't like the blurred trees in the background.
Feel: I'm not getting enough out of the picture. I'm not even sure if this represented a predatory/prey sort of thing or what.

Honorby AnnComment: Technicals: lighting is a bit harsh. A polarizer may have helped the sky a bit. Composition is a bit static with the most likely perspective chosen.
Feel: neutral. it certainly captures death, but doesn't do it in any particularly dynamic way.
