Day 4by mia67Comment: I'll never get tired of looking at these sweet faces...so subtley expressive and unposed. I think that one of the keys to a great portrait is to capture those little, quiet, in-between moments as you do so well with your boys. |

Day 4 - Momby TDCollinsComment: What a wonderful, candid portrait of your Mom, David. You've captured what appears to be a most joyful spirit. |

LOLby pla2Comment: Great joyfulness! A little tighter crop would serve to bring us right in closer with her. |

Day 4 Patienceby ValdoComment: There's such light and sweetness radiating from her! One thing that I do notice when I look at this portrait is how much the bright red of her lips and her blouse stand out. By desaturating those areas, the viewers' focus would tend to go more directly to her pretty face. There's also a noticeable haloing around her head, perhaps from oversharpening or some other PP technique. Or maybe she's just an angel. ;) |

Day 4 - bridgeby bdennyComment: Nicely composed with good placement of your subject in the frame. I would agree with coming in for a slightly tighter crop and also shooting at a time when the sun is less glaring to prevent some of those blown highlights. Looks like a great spot to return for more shoots. |

Day 3 - Cell Phone Adby xXxscarletxXxComment: I like how you've been incorporating two different views within the same frame. This does look like it could be a cell phone add. Nice job! |

The sorcererby zaflaboutComment: Nice direct, sidelong gaze in this portrait. I think that it would have really benefitted from having the lighting less directly focused on the face, as there appears to be a lot of detail lost in the bright highlights. By experimenting with more subtle lighting scenarios, I'm sure that you could get an effectively moody and compelling shot with this composition. |

first bikeby pla2Comment: Great composition on this one! The expression that you captured is priceless! I can just hear her ringing that little bike bell and feel the pleasure that she must be feeling as she pedals away on her training wheels. Even the characters on her shirt add to the joyful, uplifting mood. Very nice! |

Day 3: Dreamby daboardergirlComment: Nice one! It's like you're conjuring up a little dream world, and we're allowed to have a peek in. Similar in composition to your day one, but what an entirely different mood this one projects. |
