I can't count the number of times I see interesting looking people that I would love to photograph, but don't, because I'm still just too self conscious about drawing negative attention to myself. I really like portraits like this one that show us something about who a person is. Good job!

My kids' willingness to participate in a photo shoot varies dramatically, depending upon their mood at any given moment. Daniel is by far the more tolerant of the two, which is the reason that I have been posting so many more photos of him than of Tessa. Tessa wants to see the finished product to make sure it meets with her approval, and I do think that she likes many of the images, although the process is not something that she enjoys tremendously. Daniel has a very artistic eye, and is good at offering suggestions for fine tuning my shots. He is more understanding of my need to pursue my photography since he has similar artistic compulsions. He also rather likes the idea of being "famous" as the subject of so many of my photos. Thanks for asking, David. I do appreciate all of your lovely comments. :)
