I wish you had submitted this larger. There is a tutorial on the site about sizing your images to get the maximum impact from them. Failing that people in the forum are always willing to help with any questions you may have on sizing for this site. This is a lovely shot. Good luck

Wow what a disturbing shot. I have to say the older girl looks the splitting image of my daughter!! Scary, this is going to give me nightmares as I have lost contact with her. A very real problem in this day and age. Good luck.

I agree that the white border makes the sky look blown out, without it I think the pink of the sky would have been great. The other thing that I dont think helped the shot is the fact that although the water needed to be blurred, the rocks are also soft.

Edit to add:

Perhaps a tad more contrast would have helped the sky and rocks?

I liked this shot when I voted was one of my favorites in the challenge. Knowing how you lit it now I cant help but wonder how it would have looked if you had lit it with a strobe flash on black velvet to get a sharper image? Great shot, I dont like grapefruit but I find myself wanting to reach out and eat it!
