You have some wonderful elements here for a still life. Unfortunately the single strong (flash?)light spoils the atmosphere and creates strong shadows.

Nice combination of elements, but rather dark. The bottle and the lamp stand could have done with some light from the side the accentuate their shape, they get lost in the dark background. The wine looks like lemonade.

A good combination of warm colors in this traditional setup. A bit too many reflections, especially the one in the glass. Some black sheets could have prevented this.

I like the blue glow created in this image. I would have cropped closer to avoid the edge of the table in the bottom right corner. And maybe try a lower viewpoint so as not the emphase so much it is on a table.

How I found it ? Well, sometimes you just get lucky. I was hunting for autumn pictures, walking around in a deerpark (got some lovely deer shots as well), which consists of some open fields and some more dense wood areas. Often too messy for a picture, with no clear structure to make a strong composition, until I got across this more open wood area with the light shining through the leaves and the branches overhead. I immediately saw the opportunity. I especially like the colors and the depth in this picture.

But it shows again : you only stumble across it, if you are out there, not if you stay at home !

This shot absolutely deserved to get a ribbon, this was the only 10 I gave in this challenge. It is a great shot and absolutely a great fit to the challenge. Your effort paid off in a wonderful picture.

addition : Congrats on your upgrade to yellow. Although I now have been upgarde to blue, it would have been fully o.k. with me to let you go first, can't express in words how wonderful and fitting this image is.

The Dance

The image is so dark one can hardly see the graceful body movements. Of course I don't know the circumstances, but if it would have been possible to get the three ladies in aroom with more light and without any background elements, it would have been a lot better.
