7 - Good. Like the way you pulled it apart and chopped some up to 'showcase'. Criticism; a little 'blown' in my opinion, although I realize you may have been going for a 'high key' effect. Just more detail in the textures and 'sliced garlic', would have made this better in my opinion.

7 - Good. Good username capture, as difficult as this may have been. Colors are nice, especially in the eye. Criticism; difficult, as this is likely 'opportune', but a slightly different angle, gaining more 'wackybill', and even more detail on it, and that eye, may have made this even better in my opinion. Also 640 would have helped you. Fairly good control of the whites, especially with such a dark background and likely trying to 'tweak' that wackybill.

Fairly good texture detail in the petals on the ranunculus. Perhaps a slight nudge rotation up on the left may have made this even better in my opinion.

Like the angle/perspective on the ranunculi. Looks like it would be difficult to adjust the lighting in this with the dark background and bright yellow in the fore, which seems to be on the verge of 'blowing'.

Nice colors and background/base. Nice and simple. 'If only' it were 640 (in this case width), make it even better in my opinion. Perhaps a little more space at the fore, not sure.

Nice 'still life' type of shot. Wish it were 640 width. Color is nice. Seems good texture too, but again, difficult to tell at this size. Perhaps a lighting adjustment, but likely difficult due to resulting contrast/etc issues.

2 - Good potential. Criticism; too grainy, needs to be 640, in this case height. Not sure on the frame. The reflections in the drops seem good. Quality is too poor though overall in my opinion. edit:changed 'width' to 'height'

8 - Nice shot, perspective and toning. Criticism; difficult given the toning, but perhaps being able to see a bit of detail in the bark, etc - not sure though, as the silhouette effect is good. 6 - Good. Good colors. Criticism; 'if only' the end of the needle were sharper for more 'effect', make this better in my opinion. Perhaps a little more space at the top too or a variation in composition, not sure. White at the fore left is too blown out and detracts slightly, but fairly minor.

6 - Good. Criticism; if the end of the syringe/needle was more dominant, perhaps with less 'squirt' and more of a trickle, likely make this better in my opinion. Perhaps a variation in lighting also and as this is (presumably) a macro, attention to details like the 'fluff', but minor. edit:wording
