6 - Good contrast control in the whites. Criticism; for this 'close', like to see more detail/definition in the feathers/texture/face/etc. Sharper and a crop variation (dependent what you had of course), especially to have the full white 'skirting' feathers around the neck in frame, make this even better in my opinion.

6 - Fairly good capture. Criticism; seems both blur and focal issues (the grass looks sharper focal wise). Sharper on the COyote, and possibly a tweaking of colors/contrast to get it to 'pop' more, make this even better in my opinion. 6 mainly because looks like a natural environment = more difficulty.

6 - 'Almost' got them in individual 'flying sequences'. Good capture. Criticism; difficult, as obviously opportune, but sharper, more 'pop' and a tweaking of the colors, especially the sky - or otherwise a slight variation in composition/space (the 'centered' works, but I think a variation may have given this something extra, but not sure), likely make this even better in my opinion.

7 - Nice and simple. Criticism; difficult, but even more 'pop' (fairly good as is) make this even better in my opinion. Nice background and composition and the centering works well. Perhaps 640 height too for added impact for 'here', who knows.

5 - Looks like good potential with the colors and natural sunlight. Criticism; sharper, the 'arm' not cropped/chopped and a little more space perhaps on the left/bottom make this even better in my opinion. Good 'find' in a seemingly natural environment. Yes they are 'animals', if interested some more info: Answers.com on Starfish (Sea Stars) Kingdom: Animalia, Phylum: Echinodermata, Class: Asteroidea and from Enchanted Learning - Sea Stars "Sea stars (also known as starfish) are spiny, hard-skinned animals that live on the rocky sea floor. These invertebrates are NOT fish; they are echinoderms.
Diet: Sea stars are carnivores (meat-eaters). They eat clams, oysters, coral, fish, and other animals. They push their stomach out through their mouth (located on the underside of the sea star) and digest the prey. Anatomy: Most sea stars have five arms (or a multiple of five) that radiate from a central disk. Sea stars do not have a brain; they have a simple ring of nerve cells that moves information around the body. Eyespots (primitive light sensors) are at the tip of each arm. If a sea star's arm is cut off, it will regenerate (regrow). Classification: Kingdom Animalia (animals), Phylum Echinodermata (echinoderms), Class Asteroidea (sea stars), about 2,000 species. "

3 - Looks like there is good potential in this scene. Criticism; 640 (in this case width), sharper, a variation in composition, the colors/lightness tweaked (this seems very dark) all have likely madre this better in my opinion. Looks a little 'snapshottish', even though it is/was obviously an 'opportune' capture - but it is difficult to see/discern the main 'subject' (not just because there's only half of 'it' above water either).

5 - Seems good whites/contrast control retaining fairly good detail in the feathers. Looks like good potential, especially with more 'context'/background. Criticism; bigger (640 height in this case), tweaking of the colors, especially the beak (difficult with resulting contrast issues in the whites) and a 'glint' in the eye, make this better in my opinion. Not sure about the pseudo-'vignetting', if it is fore bokeh or what, but overall adds a darkness to this shot that makes it need tweaking even more so in my opinion. Not sure on the crop/composition, but depends what you had to work with.

5 - Fairly good seemingly natural capture. Criticism; seems slightly blurry, rather than focal issues, so sharper make this even better in my opinion. 640 would have helped too, even if it meant more context because the quality of this crop wasn't good enough.

7 - Nice capture in seemingly natural 'environs'. Criticism; sharper, tweaking perhaps of colors, not sure, to try to gain more 'pop' and drama. Apologies in advance if wrong, but perhaps a very slight nudge rotation up on the left to get (especially) the 'horns' (don't know the correct term) more 'level' (even if just for shot 'effect') may have made this even better in my opinion.

7 - Nice capture and 'silhouette'/outline/shape. Criticism; difficult obviously but 'sharper', more 'pop', more definition/stop motion in the wings, make this even better in my opinion. Maybe a crop variation, not sure.
