Close-upby bryanbrazilComment: 7 - Nice composition. Criticism; sharper mainly, more definition. Looks a little blurred but could be zoom/resizing issues. Good color. |

Fantasiaby gevorgComment: 4 - Good potential. Colors seem good. Criticism; difficult to discern whether it is 'blur' issues here or focus &/or too tightly cropped, resulting in loss of quality. Depending what you had to work with, perhaps trying to incorporate more of the rings/ripples of the water for added effect, and the above mentioned 'sharper'/focal issues, would likely have made this much better in my opinion. |

Standoffby JacksonComment: 7 - Good capture. Criticism; difficult as obviously opportune and likely from quite a distance, but.. 'sharper' (which I'm sure you're well aware), make this even better in my opinion. Perhaps a slightly tighter crop at the bottom, not sure, 'works' well as is. |

Footholdby basicentryComment: 8 - Good and unusual capture/composition. Criticism; difficult obviously, and 'lens' dependent mostly, but 'sharper' and more 'pop', make this even better in my opinion. Perhaps a little more space (depending what you had of course) on the right, primarily to incorporate 'all whiskers'. |

Wood Duckby BrenbComment: 7 - Very nice and in seemingly natural setting. Criticism; 640, slight focal point variation maybe (seems sharper on the grass in the left), but difficult to discern at this size. Like the composition. Not sure on the frame. |

Turkey voltureby AjutteComment: 6 - Mainly for the potential and uniqueness. Criticism; difficult, would like to say the beak sharp too, but you'd lose the 'eye effect' - otherwise definitely 640 (in this case height) and perhaps a slight nudge rotation up on the left to 'straighten' (depending what you had to work with of course), and possibly a little more context incorporated 'somewhere', but not sure as, 'works' as is. Even sharper too on the focal points would also have given this extra. Good unusual capture. |

I've got my eye on youby smykComment: 7 - Excellent focus/clarity on and around the eye. Criticism; depending what you had to work with, perhaps 640 height with this too, bringing in a little more context/more body - the OOF 'nose/snout' is more dominant here than the eye in my opinion. The reflection in/on the detracts slightly, but fairly minor. Color is good. |

Resting on the Treeby wantmycatslifeComment: 4 - Good potential. Nice colors. Criticism; given the background/surrounds/context, I think a more off-centered composition may have worked better here (depending what you had to work with of course). 640, in this case width, would also have likely helped. |

daintyby byoungComment: 7 - Nice colors and composition. Criticism; too soft (whether pp or not) in my opinion, but I realize you may have going for this effect. Just think it would be a stronger image with more definition in the bird and those water droplets/etc. |

Froggerby annahComment: 8 - Very good. Focus looks spot on and nice clarity. Good composition. Criticism; not much, mainly the 'chopped foot'. Perhaps a slightly wider/larger DOF to incorporate the 'mouth', but obviously lens dependent. |
