a moment in timeby magueroComment: 7 - Nice. A crop variation, especially at the top left (depending what you had of course) make this even better in my opinion. |

Liquid Lensesby GeneralEComment: 7 - Very nice. Difficult, but like to have seen the bottom/fore more in focus as well or otherwise perhaps cropped, or softened, not sure. |

Mitzie bw.jpgby MarjoComment: This must be Silly Cat's alter ego - Serious Cat. Very nice shot, b&w/effects work well, good overall character capture. |

talking to the birdsby beafliesComment: Ha.. I didn't see this before when commenting on your other shot - sorry. This is very nice. The dappled natural light and shadows play very well here. That pose of the cat is good too and, from your title, the face does show that expression they make. I can imagine the little 'mimicks' he/she was making. Very nice capture, including 'mood'.
edit: no wonder I liked this, I added 'Look to light' to my Favorites on 1/31..

Thank you again (also for another chuckle) - just to clarify, I didn't use a wide-angle lens, but yes the perspective/angle was quite sharp, intentionally. A very gentle horse.. equine.

Jaguerby CalliopeKelComment: The tilting, 'in my opinion', gave the illusion of a slightly different pose (hard to explain) - just seemed more .. wistful, not so 'posed'/'direct'. All minor anyway and as I said, 'nitpicking' (aka - aiming for perfection). Ah - sorry. It's a beautiful shot regardless. edit:condensed/reworded Message edited by author 2006-03-26 20:32:22. |

Jaguerby CalliopeKelComment: Yes, "in my opinion", it does. Although still the issue I mentioned that perhaps you've diminished the 'wistful' look by a whisker - but your call.. obviously. edit: grammar/removed quote & TN Message edited by author 2006-03-26 20:23:23. |

baby-ducks-&-mom-by MacDonaldComment: Nice capture. 'Cute'. Like the way mother is 'speaking', the reflection(s) and the way the little ones are all 'in synch'. A fraction more space to the right of mother, depending what you had of course, may have made this even better in my opinion and perhaps for added balance, tighter at the top too, not sure. |
