Ranunculusby Shea927Comment: 4 - Good potential. More detail in the color and petals, perhaps the focal point just a fraction further forward and possibly use of tripod (apologies in advance if you used one), a more refined crop, especially on the right, and a tweaking of the colors (difficult with reds) make this even better in my opinion. |

Stardomby sherpetComment: 4 - Like the concept, composition and detail in the star. The 'orange' (which looks like you've tried pp to tweak) not working in my opinion. The pebbles also look a little grainy or 'something'. |

Red Pepperby SteveinnzComment: 3 - Looks a little too close and like it needs a wash. Variation in cropping also have helped this in my opinion. |

Take Me On A Tour of Cape Mayby wali12Comment: 4 - Think perhaps if you went for an unusual perspective using this vehicle, may have given this extra in my opinion. Also trying to not get your reflection in shot, unless that was intentional. |

A full complementby cycleboyComment: 5 - Nice, but would like to have seen some of the yellow in focus as well, perhaps a slightly different angle to showcase the two, not sure. Difficult, but also 'less green'. A slight variation in composition - more off-centered, or otherwise more centered, may have also given this a little extra, not sure. Looks like you tweaked the colors to get the hue right for the Challenge, if so, seems quite well done. |

Notesby JRalstonComment: 6 - Like this. More finely tuned crop, especially at the bottom, more detail in the textures of the papers perhaps (as opposed to that purple 'base') and a slight variation in composition, may have made this even better in my opinion. Looks a little unbalanced overall. |

Complementary Glassesby DigiFotoBuddyComment: 7 - Nice colors. Good execution and refraction and symmetry. Fairly minor and nothing to be done likely in basic anyway, but the 'someting' in the right glass up near the rim detracts in my opinion. |

just before dawnby margiemuComment: 3 - Too subtle for me - colors. Fairly good shot of the moon and star, but does have somewhat of a 'snapshottish' type of feel to it. Composition is good. Tweaking of the colors (although realize likely blow out the moon/star), for this Challenge, may have helped. 640 width too. |

Complimentary Colorsby photoneerComment: 3 - Good potential. Less greeen, variation in angle, composition and focal point(s), make this better in my opinion. Some of the colors look 'blown'. Also, I see blue/yellow and purple/orange here, so concentrating on one or ther other and slightly adjusting the hue if necessary also. Frame detracts, especially for this Challenge, in my opinion. |

Balloonsby careComment: 4 - Looks like this was taken outside - perhaps incorporating more of the blue of the sky might have given this a little extra. Fairly minor, but not sure the hand is enhancing this image, in my opinion - but depends what you were going for. Like the effect of the balloons OOF, perhaps 'using' that more, depending on what opportunities you had, of course. Just not holding my interest. |
