8 - Very good candid/portrait, as usual - assuming I recognize the photographer's work. The crowd in the background oof is good and adds to the 'story' and character overall. Difficult, but the eyes even sharper, make this even better in my opinion. Very good 'straight from the camera' shot.

Depending what you have/had to work with quality-wise, this image cropped to remove the person and dog on the left (although the leash would still remain, so unless you cloned it out... who knows) and possibly eliminating the light top right (not sure though as it does add a good element), likely make an even better image, in my opinion. Her face seems so relaxed. Nice shot.

Very nice 'candid portrait'. Beautiful girl, very photogenic. The crop has enhanced this shot (compared to the original), however seems to be overall slightly dark in my opinion. The natural lighting is very nice on her hat/cap, 'if only' to have used that more on her face, would likely have made this even more special.

From the thumb I thought this was a face painting. The subtle pp looks good. Good image on its own, but the good pp work has created another good image, if that makes sense. Good patriotic image.

I gave this an 8. Really liked the composition and selective desaturation. The pose and eyes, very good. The only 'nit-pick' I had was the slight gamma/grain/something issue creeping in at the bottom, but minor - although again, may have been intentionally left in.
