Dude! by zardozComment: 8 - Good capture and clarity. Minor, but not sure on the frame, especially the color. |

Surfer Dudeby MacDonaldComment: 8 - Good capture. Difficult, but just a little sharper/more definition/clarity, the colors perhaps tweaked slightly and a more refined crop make this even better in my opinion. Perhaps a more vertical framing/crop may have given this an edge, especially using the 'lines' where the board is cutting into the water, who knows. |

Mud, Sweat and Tearsby frodobagginsComment: 8 - Good, muddy, capture. Difficult, but just a fraction more vivid coloring(s) and this at 640 width, be even better in my opinion. |

seagullby gullyComment: 8 - Nice definition - sure this size doesn't do this justice. The rock face/background dof works well. Perhaps a slight variation in composition or cropping may have made this even better, not sure. |

flat waterby pablok317Comment: 8 - Good capture. Not sure what, but needs 'tweaking' - whether it be a variation in composition, colors or even toning/b&w conversion, crop, not sure. Just think there is more potential 'somehow' with such a unique capture, in my opinion. I realize however the restrictions with basic editing. |

Quarrelby thesonComment: 6 - Good capture and angle. I see the crop dilemma. Difficult with the opportunity capture but sharper and more definition/contrast (also difficult with the light/dark ranges) make this even better in my opinion. Possibly also a nudge rotate up on the right to 'straighten' - might have meant sacrificing one of the nesting gulls and going for a square crop. Might have also reduced the 'crop dilemma'. Depends what you had to work with, obviously. |

race reflectionby almgComment: 4 - Aside from your title and perhaps the wave/water movement, there is little 'action' captured here in my opinion (and my interpretation of the Challenge). However, very nice shot - if the horizon were straight, a more refined crop (although the ropes(?) do give more context so who knows) and bigger (640 width in this case) make this much better. Looks almost like glass. |

Iaidoby v5planetComment: I gave this an 8. Liked the simplicity and composition. Toning works well. Partial silhouetting with some light filtering through also gave this a little extra in my opinion. Liked the title - looked it up and learned something new, so thank you. |

Satoriby zeuszenComment: I gave this an 8. Simple natural beauty 'magnified'. Who knows about 97th place. Very good spectrum capture. Good title. Taking liberty of adding to my Favorites. |

Patienceby StagoleeComment: I gave this an 8. Despite the somewhat 'high key' nature overall, I think the simplicity and colors work well and is/are apt for this Challenge. Liked the title. |
