Wotcha doing?by mch_nzComment: 7 - Very nice. Wish it were bigger. Not sure on the 'slant' - perhaps a rotate to straighten - but your call. Toning does work well here, but wonder about the color version. |

Sunlightby mediamstComment: 3 - Think I understand the concept but don't think you've achieved the full potential. Shape of the dog's face, etc - this framing/composition is not helping, nor is the cropping out of the nose, etc. The toning washes out the tonal range. If you wanted to do it in b&w, a little more contrast for added depth/'feel' may have helped this, in my opinion. |

Kittyby philupComment: 7 - Very nice, but is a little odd as a result of the pp/toning - mainly because of the black around the eyes - yet still works in an odd way, in my opinion. Like to have seen it more subtle, but may look just as you intended. The cat's left eye, just a little too much and detracts and distracts the more I look at this - again, in my opinion. |

Baby Bearby SandyPComment: 6 - Is nice, but just looks unnatural to me, could be neat image (apologies in advance if wrong). Likely just a personal preference thing - this almost looks air brushed - but likely looks just as you intended. Top right corner eliminated 'somehow', may have also given this a little extra. |

Moonlit Distractionsby pointandshootComment: 7 - Nice image, concept and composition. Nice natural colors. The plastic/something is a little distracting but does grow on you after a while, so undecided. For this Challenge though, would like to have seen 'more' of the cat within the frame - ie: bigger. |

Innocent trustby akuliComment: 4 - Lighting seems too harsh and too close/intrusive. A much 'gentler' image would likely have given this an edge in my opinion. Variation in the background fabric too, although the color is quite nice. Not sure on the black frame. |

grimby shoelessajComment: 5 - Like the concept, but either much more detail and sharpness captured, or else (and primarily for this Challenge), more features discernible - mainly eyes. |

dog (adidas)by tcmartinComment: 5 - Lighting is nice and the softness works well. Like to have seen the legs not chopped else chopped more so you couldn't see them 'begin', also the background color, whilst does work as is, perhaps a variation in color may have complemented Adidas' fur more. Not sure on the vertical framing, but your call. Little less space at the top and not so tightly cropped on the left too. |

Shades of Grayby carotop111Comment: 6 - Nice portrait, but seeing as you have cropped the top anyway, going a little further down to eliminate the 'line' back left, as well as possibly a nudge rotate to 'straighten' a little, as well as cropping out the overexposed area on the right, make this even better in my opinion. |

Piper!by BakerBugComment: 6 - Nice composition and relaxed capture of Piper. Something odd going on in some of the darker areas, almost looks like gamma/contrast/something issues, likely as a result of the toning/pp. The eyes don't seem 'clear' - again could be the pp has accentuated that. Mostly though, Piper's right eye has a white mark over the bottom of it, so trying to fix that in this Advanced Editing Challenge would have helped you. |
