Butterflyby BadgerComment: 6 - Like the vertical nature of this. Nice colors. |

branchesby cheleComment: 6 - Different. Like the pp/framing. Like to have seen it pack more punch with perhaps a little more color (although like the tone used) and a fraction more contrast, just my opinion though - may look just as you intended. |

Seal-Pup-002.jpgby VanBergenComment: Nice image. Colors are very nice. Focus looks spot on. Like the 'use' of foreground - which is likely just opportune, but works well. |

Aged to Purr-fection!by bergiekatComment: Re your feedback: definitely some pp visible there behind the cat's left ear - looks like burning. Your out-take is another nice character capture, but isn't as good as your entry, in my opinion. |

"I Hate You for This."by KenComment: Re the 'lighter markings': on another look, and coupled with your feedback, perhaps it is spots/something in a pattern on the black fabric, not sure. One almost directly under the cat's right cheek at the fold and the other a little to the right of the elbow, again at the fold. |

Laughingby DianeSComment: Re your request for further clarification on my 'angle' comment: Mainly what I was referring to was the angle taken of the dog, rather than the angle the image has been taken from. For example, some 'delicate areas' down the bottom of the dog, more 'subtle', may have been better as well as the angle of the face has accentuated the 'lack of eyes'. Hope this clarification helps. |

You've Gotta Be Kidding: Just Try And Stop Meby J-MeComment: Re your questions: I am no 'expert', but certainly if you are trying to get the fur more defined / sharper, I would suggest a tripod, coupled with good lighting - natural or 'other'. I suggest asking in the Forums for some expert advice on the technicals, or else researching via the net or books if you are wanting to learn how to develop your technical skills. Also, obviously the cat completely still always helps, but they don't always cooperate. 'Setting the mood', may also help you in that regard. |
