Apple Blossomby Rachel34Comment: Nice concept, sharper focus on at least the fore bloom make this better in my opinion, as would a little more light - especially because it/they have to compete with the strong lighting in the background. The composition is nice, including the tones. |

Peach Bouquetby idnicComment: Difficult - because I can see her, I want her to be in focus (as well), but if this image is primarily about the 'Peach Bouquet' (which it seems to be, unless I'm mistaken), then the flowers perhaps dominating the frame more, somehow, make this better in my opinion. It's a little hard to tell if this has had a sepia effect or just desaturated. |

A Place To Get Awayby mthrgse49Comment: The tones work well with this image. 640 would have helped you. From what I can discern at this size, it looks like a boat in the background and water - which would make a nice scene (and bring your title to life more). The cable/something on the floor behind the chair is a little distracting, perhaps trying a slightly different angle, including to get the arm of the chair at the fore in, may have made this an even better image. |

Wait for Me!by BarbBComment: The reflections on the steps is a nice element in this image, especially with the toning. Depending what you had to work with, perhaps a tighter crop at the top may have made this a stronger image, not sure. Nice capture though, also of the little one trying to get up and the waves splashing. |

Passing Timeby MaryOComment: Oo. Nice. Nice focus. Just noticed the clock, given your title, shame that wasn't more of a feature. More refined crop top left to remove the frame may have given this a little more refinement, but fairly minor, plus I realize the clock would be sacrificed. Tones work well here. |

Sepiaphoneby JovanComment: Nice concept but the oof fore dominates the image too much. |

Missing Colorby FallenAngel360Comment: Good potential with this scene, looks like dogwood(?) - perhaps trying to steady the camera more (or less wind?) and also trying to separate the flowers from the background, maybe by zoom if you have no macro function - this seems out of focus as well, so trying to nail that will likely help produce a better quality image. A more refined crop and attention paid to composition will also help. |

Texturesby jjsmomComment: Apologies in advance if wrong, but this looks like a mix of artificial and real plants/flowers. The first thing I noticed was that there is no arrangement in the 'flora' itself, the composition also needs work. Overall it is too busy and, whilst I think I understand your concept with the textures, an image like this in a Sepia Challenge would have to be composed and arranged in a way to truly show the textures (if you want to keep this title), which you cannot do from this image, in my opinion. The background fabric detracts from your subject as well. |

Bad Hair Dayby nattvComment: 640 and a variation in composition / framing would have helped this. Focal point/area is good. |

leaveby RetroesqueComment: Like the patterns the toning has created, although perhaps bordering on extreme (contrast wise mainly). Difficult, but maybe a more refined crop, especially to eliminate the bottom right, may have made this even stronger and given more compositional balance, but having said that, it does lend some more context/perspective.. Not sure on your title, unless it is intentional. |
