this may be the only time in history where I actually like the 'sideless' border that you have here... def looks like a movie still... my only complaint is that I wish the row boat was maybe 2 feet further from the shore so as to not look like an extension of it (i probably would have cheated and cloned out that last nub of the peninsula ;) ). still cool, lovely tones, gl 8

i like where you're going with this but feel that the crop is too tight on the bottom... i don't like how the road hugs the frame like that, but i'm not sure theres much you could have done about that.

Also, I think some dodging and burning could have really accentuated the really interesting parts of your image like the red leaves in the bottom left, the road, and the sunlit hill top. And overall i think the image could use a bit more contrast through levels or curves.

Sorry for the long post but i really like the pic, thats the only reason i wanted to comment :) 7

very cool, dynamic shot. My only knit to pick is that the darkening effects around the border of the image are a bit too obvious in the bottom left corner.. i just wish that was a bit more smooth of a transition, otherwise the rest is great! 8 gl

I like where you're heading with this but feel that the composition is just sort of , well ... average... I mean it fits the rule of thirds but theres just not that much that draws the eye in.
