Down At The Docks.by SouthCoastOr3gonComment: there is so much awesome about this shot but i have a few nits to pick. One, i might be crazy but is the horizon slanted to the left? and 2) the poles on the right are blocking what I would think would be interesting elements behind them. Other than that, the reflections in the water are just great, as is the overall painterly feel of the image, awesome that you got the seal looking at you like that 8 |

Slither in the Shadowsby HaneckComment: i love how you've brought the snake to stand out like this... if i could just make a suggestion, as it is somethign I am often guilty of, you could have been a little more careful of 'staying in the lines' when you dodge'd the snake or burned the leaves or whatever, as there is a slight halo on the leaves around the snake that IMO detracts from the naturalness of the shot. still, 8 |

bridgeby dl_maggiComment: cool colors and composition, but I do think your photo suffers from softness that will drag the vote down hard. If this was in full allowable resolution at 720px and tack sharp it would be a different photo altogether. Go back here with a tripod! :) |
