Tangled Livesby rileyComment: Critique Club Review:
Interesting Picture and a very good interpretation of the challenge.
I like the contrast, but think the image could have been a bit brighter, and perhaps more color saturation. The depth of field is good, but just a touch more to capture the upper right side of the ball a little more sharply.
I think, though that a little bit more drama to the lighting could have helped. Perhaps a bit more to the side or top with lighting, or even a bit of a colored back light. (A colored back light might have helped fill the dark void in the middle right side of the ball.)

Old Leatherlipsby xtabintunComment: Critique Club Review:
The lighting and the trees on the left detract a bit from the photo. The lighting darkens the face, and highlites the eyebrow, hair, and ear. This tends to lead the eye away from the subject. Also the various highlites compete so that eye is not quite sure where to go. If the sky were darker/less bright, it might help also. The subject does fit the challenge well. Focus, color saturation are both also good. I keep thinking I would love to see this shot on a misty morning or a foggy day. Perhaps sepia or B&W would help focus the attention on the complexity of the rock. Overall an above average photo. |

stoppin' the poppin'by UNCLEBROComment: I'd love to know how this one was done. While there are "artistic" improvements that could be made, (lighting etc.) I think that this picture should have scored higher in the challenge. |

Strawberry Farmby chookieComment: How interesting. Here, we only see grapes grown this way. It will be interesting to see where this one was taken. Great depth of field in this shot. |

Balut (Partiallly incubated duck chick)by briphotoComment: Photo is a little dark. a bit brighter and maybe a touch more contrast. The rim of the plate leads the eye away from the subject. A different angle or different plate would have helped too. The textures are interesting, and should be played up. 6 |

A Flying DESSERTby kiwinickComment: Took me a moment to figure out what it was. I like the way the colors of the banana work with the shells. Gerat imagination, fits the theme quite well. Might have cropped it a bit closer, but the saturation, lighting and focus are all veru good. 9 |

Finally doing the laundryby siggiComment: Excellent pic. First try? Or did she dry off between takes? I like the capture of the moment of impact where the clothing doesn't even show wetness yet. 10! |

.........WOW! and an amazing save by the American goalkeeperby MarkComment: After reading what you did to create this shot, I think you deserved a better score. However, many voters here take the challenge litterally, so you were probably voted lower because it wasn't real people on a real team. However I think your resourcefulness and creativity were great! I would never have thought of trying something like this. |
