Fashion Statementby CalliopeKelComment: Beautiful tones and model, I like the pose, it seems natural but not too staged. Good framing with the wood around her. Well done. |

To My Lovely Kimberleyby theSajComment: Nice setup but the tones are just a bit too flat here. This shot has an almost transparent feel to it, my eye wants to be drawn into a rich and inviting setup of these roses but is just left wanting more. |

look at meby bongeeComment: A bit too out of focus for my tastes, tones are flat and really don't enhance the subject. Border on this shot is hurting it as well IMHO. |

Red, red roseby nlghttrainComment: I'm wondering how many people are telling you this isn't duotone? Well I'm not going to. IMHO this is a very nice shot, well composed and perfect lighting make it a pleasure to view. Well done and good luck with this challenge! |

Milkweed podby JunieMoonComment: I really like the detail you've captured here. I also like the blue tones in the background setting off the golden and brown tones on the main subject in the foreground. Well done!

Tinted Temple & Treesby f-32Comment: I was just there shooting this about a month ago for my grandmother-in-law. Nice tones but the sky is just a bit blown out for my tastes. |

The fires of sunset from the other side of midnightby RikkiComment: Orange tones make this very different than the other entries I've voted on thus far. I like it! The only distraction to me, is the branches in the upper left portion of the frame. I would love to see and edit of this shot without those in it. The reeds jutting out of the water are a great primary subject that helps move the eye over to the reflection of the clouds and through the rest of the shot. Well done. |

Evidenceby h2Comment: Love the idea and the execution here (no pun intended). IMHO there are only two minor distractions that are standing out in your shot. First the orange border, although not bad, takes away from your main subject. Second, the gun could be a bit more lit up so we could see more detail. What I do like about it is how you've captured the smoke with out over doing your highlights in the smoke and the tip of the barrel, and the grain in the photo lends it to an old detective movie or police evidence photo. Overall, I feel you've nail this challenge, have a creative shot that is interesting to look at and forces the viewer's imagination into overdrive. Well done! |
