This is a difficult shot to get. I know because I just returned from a four day trip that included canoe on two rivers with cypress trees. The bright reflections take distract from this. I found that thick cloud cover and finding a group of trees with thick dense foilage in the background helps to avoid the bright reglections. The shot also needs to be rotated clockwise about 5 degrees also.
