Untitledby mgsmith53Comment: Great color and levels on this photo. I wish I could give a 7 but the composition is awkward. At first I didn't know what I was looking at. I see now that it is two lions. 6 |

Free Climberby philocamComment: Fair macro but the focus is strange. Looks like it is on the thorax and not on the front of the head. I treat bug macros like a portrait, the face or at least the head should be the main focus. |

Go ahead-Make my day!by cabaComment: 6 because I know how hard it is to set up a good portrait. Too many nice shots entered for me to give this a 7 ! |

Climax Bridgeby asamiteComment: 7 from me. Looks like a good setup shot. Not something you just snapped. The post processing is also very good. I could pop this up to an 8 depending on what I come across in later voting. |

My favorite quote from Doc Holliday "Now ain't that a daisy"by littlemavComment: I like this but it lacks contrast with the sky. It does look like you used a light source under the daisy and that is good. Someone taught me a photoshop trick when I was editing my current free study entry...
...it was to create a layer and used "soft light" as the layer property. It really adds and makes the subject pop out from the background.
I'll go ahead and give this a 6. I base my score on the lighting used under the daisy and the fact that I can make out each petal against the sky background. |

Big Redby ace flymanComment: Ducks and chickens don't usually do well on DPC but I can't see this getting less than a 6.3 or so. |
