Hey there, welcome to the site first of all. As the others have said below, the stick definitely needs to be cropped out. It really takes away focus from the beautiful flower. I think you did a great job with the exposure on this shot. The colors are nice and the detail on the white flower is very good. Many times, white will get too blown out or over-exposed, so you lose the detail, which you were able to capture nicely. My biggest suggestion moving forward would be to practice your post processing skills in programs such as the Adobe Photoshop products. They make a huge amount of difference. Before I joined this site, I had used Photoshop some, but never harnessed the power of the product with my photography until this year. More than anything else, be sure to have fun.
