wonderful lighting here ... i get this ... but for some reason it just doesn't grab my eye like I want it to ... I think perhaps if the flower itself were in focus but the seed blur was the same .... I realize that was probably impossible but I'm just statin my humble opinion.

A modern wind-mill that actually has a modern function ... how dare you! :) ... i like this one - If the propellers were only in the sky (not touching the trees it would add a point (it sounds picky but hopefully it makes sense). None the less the message is clear to me on this and i like these flowers that some call weeds. 8

Bing that this is such a highly photographed and public item, I think without other props the image needs to be perfectly exposed, composed and lit to be effective. This one isn't doing that for me.
