Tiny Bubble(s)by colorcarnivalComment: This is the type of image that could be mediocre or excellent - the rich contrast and saturated colors without distractions make this beautiful and simple. 8 |

Joe Takes A Bubble Bathby EssAreDubyaComment: I think if Joe's eyes and head-top were the only thing showing while the rest of him was under water this would be more effective. |

Bubbles and Bokehby shankswareComment: YES! - you have successfully done what I thought I had done but failed to do in the last bubble challenge (play with bubbles and bokeh - yours is a more obvious approach). This is BEA-yootiful. 8 |

Bubbles of Funby JawnyRicoComment: Excellent subject, light and colors. the only thing that might make stronger would be a slightly more offset subject (slightly to the right in the frame) and if the horizon appeared either level or even more exaggerately not level. 7 |

The Storm (BASIC editing)by talikfComment: For some reason when there's an expert edit challenge I end up getting something I like that would fit but (like this one) would be just great under basic edit and I never use it. The same thing happened with tryptic - I was going for a 3-banger but ended up with one image that was just great - -oh well, I can see the point of putting the Basic edit in the title -- you'll never make everyone happy and expert editting haters would definitely think this was fake -- I live the reflection - I wonder whether it might have been funt to mess around with the dodging and burning and saturation to get more contrast and drama.
OH, BTW - incredible capture! ( obviously) |
