This is an incredible shot, model looks great, and the lighting is amazing. If I was to be really picky, I would have preferred to have the textured background cover all the background, and avoid having the ground split the horizon, but I can get over that :)

Not really a lot of control necessarily. Set up the camera on a tripod, focused the camera, and set to manual focus. Turned out all lights, remote triggered my camera and left the shutter between 5 and 10 seconds, and tried a bunch of shots. I took a small LED penlight (A photon microlight), and starting behind the apple, spiralled my way up. LOTS of FUN :)
