Wasn't a member when this challenge was run, but I think this fits perfectly with your style. I like that you did it in black and white too. Adds to the effect of the disparity in size between the two snakes. I found the foreground a little distracting but my eye was definitely drawn to the snakes heads. Sometimes DoF can play tricks on perception for the viewer that the photographer doesn't see. Overall nice image. I just wonder how you got them to 'pose' for this shot. Everytime I have tried to shoot a snake it never works. They just won't sit still. Nice job. Would have given it a 7 or 8 first round and probably bumped it up.

I really like this photo and find it a very interesting image. The black face is perfect and I think adds to the impact of the image nicely. I especially like the hint of the eye. I wasn't a member when this challenge was run, but I would have given you at least an 8 on the first round of voting and quite possibly bumped you up on subsequent views. Nice work!

So we are even - 6 here too. I liked the concept and thought it was interesting to look at. But I kept finding myself distracted by the lips and was always drawn to them, hence ignoring the metal aspect. Perhaps if you?? weren't wearing the red lipstick it may have helped. Perhaps I am a sucker for red lipstick. After looking at it some more (I view all entries at least three times) I found I kept looking for the top of the picture even though the whole image was on my screen. Not sure why. I thought it was I wanted to see the eyes to show the focus, but still not sure looking at it again. But yet again I found myself trying to scroll higher to see more of the image.

I find the light reflection on the dial very distracting. I am drawn to that spot and the rest of the shot loses focus after tha. Other than that I like the shot.

When you spell your title incorrectly it makes me think you didn't care enough about your shot to bother with getting the title correct. I think it would have been stronger in the challenge if the perspective/angle of shot was different.

It really bothers me when there are mistakes in spelling in the title. It seems lazy and makes me think you didn't care enough about it which makes me think you also didn't care enough about your entry. The bushes in the front are fuzzy which I find distracting. it looks like there is a fence in the shot - perhaps more of that would give a better indication of just exactly how forgotten it was.
