OK, dont take this the wrong way, but this would of been better without the model in the car. This car, minus the model, with the background and lighting as it is, could of put this into a ribbon position. I still think it will be a strong contender overall, but just didn't need the guy in it.

Not sure why this conceptualizes `hell`. I am trying hard to see what you are trying to make us see, but its just not happening. Shame because it is quite a pretty shot. I will go for 6 now, but will come back to revise at the end of voting... hopefully I will be in a good mood still at that point :)

OK, revising comment to something more constructive, but I advise you to ask SC to get that typo changed.

I was expecting to see a few she-devils in this shot so was quite surprised there wasn't many more. Anyway, my biggest problem with this shot is not the technicals, they are bang on, but the concept itself. The brief was " Create a photo that communicates the concept of `hell.`" So here I am trying to work out what you are trying to communicate. as you probably know I am very much a DNMC Nazi, and whilst this does not fall into that category by any means, it doesn't really communicate any hellish concept to me, sure it shows the typical she-devil character, but to me hell isn't a place of fire, brimstone, eternal punishment and purgatory, of little devils running around with pitchforks or PVC clad she-devils scowling a lot. To me hell is something here on earth, something real yet hellish to think about. However, this is far better than a lot of entries and I'd expect it to score well, however from the forum I can see you are hovering just under the 6 barrier.. so I hope it breaks that as it deserves a 6..

as a subnote, if you had entered this in the halloween challenge you would of done VERY well indeed, maybe top 5.. cold comfort I know.. good luck.

OK, had to wikipedia "styx" so I got the title. THe river that forms the boundary between Earth and the Underworld. Well, the processing is certainly moody enough. good entry.

Great to see some vintage motors in this challenge. You picked a good environment to place the car, the sky looks great. My only nitpick is the jaggies in the line along the edge of the car. but will not mark you down for that.. This is my pick for one of the top 3..
