Wooohoo. OK, I think you have heard this a lot already, but I think I am looking at a top 5 shot here, I am only halfway through voting so I will reserve judgement, but I cannot fault this shot.

It is not candid (its more editorial) so it defintely fits into the portrait catagory - the colours are gorgeous, the yellow in the background really works against the outfits of the dancers. I love a shot with a nice bokeh'd background and this is perfect.

nothing I can add here. Cant wait to see whose it is.

Not really a portrait in the traditional sense of the word and I am being pretty strict in this challenge as I am getting annoyed at group candids and not group portraits.. however, what saves this shot is strong composition and nice lighting. 6

Horrible yellow tint to this image, this could of been corrected by adjusting the white balance during post processing. The composition is good. but overall its a pretty average shot.. 6
