Mont Tremblantby srdanzComment: This is a nice photo that meets the challenge. I would have left out the extra framing you have done as it was framed beautifully by itself. The extra framing actually distracts. |

Concrete Jungleby TuckersmomComment: I like the concept and composition here. Would have preferred the green tractor be toned down just a bit. Otherwise very good shot. |

Feline in the Frameby AlexSaberiComment: shame about the blade of grass that interferes with the beauty of this cat. I would have scored this much higher if that had been taken out. |

Framed Loveby MummiComment: could have been composed better. Perhaps if you had been at a better angle, plus shot through the space between railing bars this would score higher. The hand rail is more of a distraction than a help in framing - IMHO |

Learning to Lightby ShutterPugComment: hbunch7187: First of all, thank you for taking the time to critique this image.
I agree that the flame is a little bit pixeled in the orange part. I did not manipulate the flame at all so I am not sure how it happened or how to correct it the right way.
As for the border, it shows up as orange on my monitor - the same color as the orange in the flame. I actually picked the color from the image on the screen (flame)when I was working on this.
I received another comment on the flame being too hot, or too bright. I did not think it was at the time, but agree now that is could have been a little more subdued.
Thanks again,
Linda |
