Paris, la ville des lumièresby dmmontyComment: hmmm - not crazy about the pink sky. Just does not look natural. The crop seems tight along the horizon. The feeling of depth is well done. |

Sixteenth Restby auntek 3Comment: Lighting seems harsh across the back. Skin tones look good. As for composition it works, but does not really have a lot of impact on me. |

Lake Pontchartrain July 2005by theonemuleComment: Looks a little too dark to me. I like the composition of the bench and tree to the left, but the pole alng the right is distracting - might have cropped that out. Nice colors. The sharp blue water gives nice contrast to the shaded areas. |

Life in Deathby DefyTimeComment: I'm sitting here staring at this trying to decide if I like the desat or not. I know I like the shot, and the desat is not bad....just thinking that the highlights might be a bit blown. If they weren't so strikingly bright I would love this. The tree colors are beautiful. Perfect title. |

That Tickles Grandmaby nemesise1977Comment: Nice use of soft focus. The color tone is very pleasant. I think perhaps a bit more shallow DOF, or else Grandma not looking so stern would help. Grandmas eyes just don't say "laughter" or "joy" to me. |

November Skyby rileyComment: This one seems a bit dark to me. Being that this is advance editing, I might have tried dodging some areas to bring them out more. I would love to be able to see more of the base of the tree, and the tall grasses growing beyond. |

Snowy Egretby ubiquitousComment: What a beautiful bird - as long as it stays on it's perch with that long sharp beak. lol Nicely composed and focused. The textures of the tail feathers really come through. Taken at a very good angle as the sun casts perfectly upon this bird. |

Lory Birdby ginjerComment: Intersting angle - not sure I'm liking it though. Probably just a erpsonal preference, as I like to see the faces - especially the eyes of living creatures. Nice colors and shallow DOF. |

Shyby ergoComment: Very nice candid with rich tones. I love the textures too. The nose seems to need a little burning, but otherwise the skin tones are beautiful. Nice use of DOF |
