Day 2: Good Morningby socalsteveComment: Nice range of grays here. I'm not sure about the vignetting. I sort of like it, but it almost feels to closed in. |

Pastels Triptych - Day 2by sherpetComment: Works great as a triptych. I wonder if having the shot with the full cups showing would be better placed in the middle? |

Pastel Cups - Day 1bby sherpetComment: Lovely colors. I like this one the best. The composition and lighting are perfect.
They are beautiful together as a triptych Message edited by author 2008-04-02 14:22:07. |

Prickly Pear Cactusby cogeroxComment: Very interesting. The shape has given an odd focusing. The middle of the prickly pear is in focus, and then a little ways out from the middle there are small areas of focus in an arch that give way to the texture of the plant. |

Nice work with keeping the sky properly exposed. |

Via Mazziniby JimiRoseComment: Very interesting story. I think rather than steal bikes back and forth I would opt to just walk.
I agree with Hot-Pixel, the image does look tilted. I'm not sure rotating will fix it as it seems lens distortion may be part of it. If you use PS you could try crop with perspective box checked and correction made.

skegness-pier.jpgby idpComment: Nice work. If you stooped just a bit lower, you could have lined the end of the pier up with the horizon and had a really neat vanishing point. Still a nice shot with good pp.
edited to add you might want to clone out the sensor dust in the sky Message edited by author 2008-04-02 04:39:58. |
