For me roses are the most difficult bloom to photograph. I admire the beautiful and most natural colour you have picked up in this flower. The spikey environment gives this rose a real place to live on the picture plane....

ouch..... such bright light. really interesting diagonal shapes (rays)... I percieve the image as having unrealized potential. The softness of the image is not necessarily a problem but I would have worked on the prisim effects more. 4

The face, the naked body, and the menacing play of light is convincing. The rabbit cage as a whole is less so - it appears that one could easily take that stick and batter the wire away to escape this imprisonment. A tight crop, eliminating the white hotspot, causing the diagonal board to meet the edge of the frame would have created more of a sense of containment. Regardless of that, I am still going with a 9.

Black and orange...... haloween colours. I love the silhouette, but I can not determine if the subject is holding an open book - ( reading in the dark is bad for your eyes) or something else - it could be a pair of legs. The lower right silhouette could be a page curl or else a bent knee?????

am enjoying texture on the background.... and the gradation of the light on it. It certianly provides interesting contrast to the softer bloom. The flower placement is problematic...... I could see tight cropping on the top and bottom as a solution to my preferences. I love the half moon shape of the flower. 5
