Floating buoy - with a shape reminiscent of a Christmas tree ornament. The calm water, black reflection and mirrored looking glass sky create a unique photo. Complements on your 4x Hasselblad format, you have made good use of this crop style, which seems to have become prevalent with many shooters. Really good shot.

Soft unusuall pastel colour combinations in this scene are attractive and the balance of the design is keeping me off center which i like - here is an interesting and pleasing abstract with unknown presumably sky reflections on the active - but muted liquid, surrounded by the engaging sharper focus.

Thoughtful and really good subject matter - an extra credit for that. Iiridescent qualities are always interesting and beautiful, but the oil slick itself is sinister and deadly for wild life and birds. Whenever I see an image like this it triggers other thoughts of peacock feathers or Sammy Davis Jr in a tailored Italian suit.

Superior high contrast. - I love the minimal components to the image. A great martini glass w/ the greenish splash of drink. I like the way it is held by the silhouette hand, and the unusual view of interaction of the hand with the glass, also the connection of the hand to the graphic top and bottom rectangles which frame and lock the image. I think it is good design.
