Close viewby StructorComment: I love this! Great idea, great execution, and the hint at a 10 leaves no other choice. |

Cone but not forgottenby hvauxComment: Definitely obsolete! I'm not sure that it's very interesting as it stands. I wonder if a closer crop on the traffic cone & a bit more "oomph" on the colors would have helped make it more interesting. |

Old Warriorby wilkerbeastComment: What a great car - I love the vegetation growing around/inside it! I think that if you had been able to make the colors stand out more (do you have an editing program where you can play with curves or contrast?) it would have helped a bit. As it is, the contrast between the dark green of the ivy, the pretty limier green of the foregound vegetation and the rust of the engine are "popping" the way that would make this a really good image. |

No Longer Guardian of the Shoreby rayg544Comment: This must have been difficult to try to capture - I hope it wasn't dangerous! I like the concept & the title. I'd have liked more detail in the lighthouse top; it seems underexposed to me and yet the sky seems blown out. What beautiful water though! Perhaps a fill-in flash would have both captured more of the lighthouse & yet allowed you to decrease the shutter speed. |

Passe Jump Ropesby mthrgse49Comment: This was a great idea - I like the concept of the ropes hanging unused. THe colors don't "pop" for me though, so I wonder if a little more contrast would have helped. The composition and lighting are a little dull - perhaps use a strong light to highlight the ropes more, and then get some shadows on the wall? |

Obsolete-Native American Arrowheads for Huntingby smilebig4me1xComment: I like this concept & composition, and the arrowheads certainly are obsolete. Good take on the challenge topic!
I find the top right and bottom left corners distracting. I guess it wasn't possible to get the stone mortor to completely fill the frame? Two of the black arrowheads seem to lose a lot of detail in the image; only the top left non-black one seems to have the detail & clarity that I would have like to have seen from them all. Perhaps if the center of focus were the center of the bowl, and there was a litttle more depth of field this would have received a much higher score. |

Trayby mamcgComment: I remember those trays! I think I would have preferred this landscape; I'm not sure why it's been turned the way it has. I wish that the food was more "old-fashioned" as well - the tray makes me remember meatloaf & sandwiches. |
