Thanks Eileen, I think you are one of the few that got what I was aiming for. However, I used PS CS to burn through my adjustment layer to show the bottle green through.

This turned out to be my lowest rated entry EVER! Ah Well, I'll try harder next time.

IMOH the best 'Landmark at night' picture of the challenge. This certainly is a great new viewpoint on the classic london picture. I'll be giving this ago next time I'm in London at night! (9)

This is fantastic. The only one I gave a 10 out of all 282 images. I love the tonal reflection in the water, and the lonely figure on the headland. Very little noise which is great for the low light. Love the mood, love comp, love everything about this one. Rock on.....Blue ribbon I'm sure.

It's true, powerlines look pretty good at sunset. Nice tonal range in the sky. (7)

I like that you got movement in the clouds, however IMHO I reckon the contrast of night sky and cloud needs to be better. Also, the longer expouser does nothing for the city lights. (4)

Like the leading line, like the graphic look of this. Did you try this in B&W? I reckon the stark contrast would make this stand out more. (6)

I wounder how many comments you'll get saying 'too small'. I'd have to agree, I can't see why you haven't used the max 640px available to you. Is it the file size? Then reduce the quailty in Photoshop. Quality of between 60 and 90% is fine for DPC, but allows bigger images sizes. I suspect this would do well if it was bigger. (4) - sorry, needs to be bigger to see the image better.

This strong diagonal is very un-nerving. I understand what you were trying to do, but not sure it works here. A little too noisey, but I suspect that is due to the high ISO needed for the night shot. (2)
