Why do I like this so much?...because it conjures up days of when I was younger and punker ( oh what fun we had then! )...and something that has been lost...it's hard to think that there are people out there, particularly the younger folk who have never set foot in one of these places...they are stuck pretty much going into the local "box" store and getting what they can....how sad...

...they will never experience the ambience these places can offer...the smell...the imagery everywhere...and not being force fed something they don't have enough brains to realize is crap...oh well atleast we know that vinyl once ruled...and still does to some.

IMO It all seems a bit contrived...the gothic sepia, the slant, the "despair" which really doesn't ring true due to the age of the model paired with the age of that grave stone...maybe if it were a newer stone the sadness might be more believable, but then again most new stones are a bit boring.

...a beautiful presence...the soft B & W tonality is very pleasing...but for me...the "squares" are getting much more attention than the circles...perhaps a different crop to just the window with the fan would change that? ...and that little white ghost in the bottom left of the right window, sometimes basic editing rules really suck...still a lovely image : }
