Ah! The roof is pointing to the turbulence close at hand...a warning or maybe an homage...fantastic contrasts of textures and tones...very nice.

Of all the carcass images in the challenge, this is the one that caught my attention...it's not horrific, bloody, sadistic or even cruel...death comes naturally and often invisibly...death can be "little" and often overlooked yet it is everywhere...this image somehow has a thoughtfulness about it...beautifully seen.

I think this may be my favorite image of the challenge...subtle and elegant, beautiful light, color and texture and a perfect title...a lush blood red...death and beauty, beauty in death.
