Moonlight Sonataby cryanComment: I want to see this without the fat little white border surrounding it...with such a deep rich photograph, it's nothing but a distraction...and I hate the word myself, but it really keeps me from fully enjoying this beautiful, moody midnight story, which is of course my own fault I cannot get past it. Maybe if it were simply thinner? No more the 2 pixels at the most? Or instead of white, a deeper gray? Just thinking out loud... |

Victorian Alpsby robstComment: I really enjoy the composition of this view, the way the light rakes across the tree tops...I just find the blue overwhelming, perhaps a tad too saturated for my taste. I wonder what this would look like in B&W? I'm thinking that gorgeous light would just be fabulous and stand out even more without the distraction of color? Just thinking out loud... |

Delta Rice Field at Sunsetby kvickreyComment: Though, to my eye, there is something quite unnatural about the color, I find this immensely appealing...like a dazzling work of fiction...I do enjoy a good story. |

Waterfall of the Godsby JohannesFrankComment: I must admit I'm not a big fan of fluffy water shots, but this one is having a very different effect on me. It's not the waterfalls that are drawing me in, it's that translucent beach glass aqua that seems to move and undulate right before my eyes...expanding...contracting...I can't stop looking at it. |

Catching some rays…by Edward MainComment: That's a cute little coupe...a thing to keep in mind when photographing cars, as with anything else, is to be mindful of what's going on in the background. For instance...the giant tree trunk that's growing up through the middle of the ride. Now I know you can't remove the tree trunk, and I don't know if this was a happened upon scene, or what the circumstances were. But even if it's a found car, meaning it's just parked there and you don't know who the owner is, there are so many ways to get some great shots like moving in closer or getting down low.... really low. And if you do know the owner, or are the owner...just watch that background. This would be a pretty sweet shot without that darn tree! |

by MephistoComment: The graceful curve contrasted with the crude expressive lines on the floor...nice. is that a face? if so, the banister becomes the tongue. |

Thanks Zig...that means a lot coming from you. And you do have the guts. Your portfolio is full of shots that are some of the coolest to be seen here at DPC, or anywhere else for that matter. |

Doll girlby ZigomarComment: But her happiness does shine through doesn't it? I love the expression on her face. Maybe her circumstances are not so happy...but children seem so apt at finding bits of it where they can. |
