A Bitter End - Murdered!!!by NigelComment: Is that cheese coming out of there?? Ew.
(Nice choice of blue for the knife handle, by the way. And the composition is nice, too.) |

Overkillby sarrobiComment: I get the concept, and the title describes it perfectly, but I honestly think this would look better with a different colored background. |

Daybreakby TuckersmomComment: This is good. Much better than the ones I was trying (before I gave up on this type of flower altogether!). Beautiful lighting, wonderful composition. After the challenge is over, I'd like to know what your lighting set-up is and how much of this is post processing. I've been trying to get shots like this and just am not quite there. |

Sweet Spotby PhilipDyerComment: Beautiful bee (?) shot. Perfect focus. Love the contrast between the yellow and the reds. |

The sun roseby kari1Comment: Meets the challenge nicely - I love that color yellow. The lighting on the right is a bit harsh, and overall there seems to be a very soft focus, which I'm not particularly fond of. In this case it almost looks like you were too close for your camera to focus properly rather than looking like the soft focus was a deliberate choice. |

"The Big Mac Bridge"by MarjoComment: I'm curious to know if the bridge really is yellow. Won't affect the score, just curious. It's a decent shot. There seems to be a lot of haze that's obscuring most of the photo (I know you can't control weather!), and you could probably stand to crop out a bit of the sky. I like how the daffodils match the color of the bridge. |
