Hmmm. kind of blurry, and also the iceberg is overexposed. Lighting was too harsh to get a good balance of lights and darks. Perhaps a different time of day.

Kind of a bad angle. Back of heads work in some cases, but not in this one. You also are very overexposed on one half of the image, which causes an unattractive contrast.

This is a really marvelous post process. It retains a lot of detail, especially in the eyes. It did get hammered for scores, but still glad you put it in for us to enjoy and see a different type of processing. Glad you are willing to experiment, of course. Interesting and stimulating

Nice image, but I really don't get the sense of portrait with this shot. Portrait ordinarily means a living thing in the picture. Anyway, overall your sat is nice,though the glare in the background is a bit much. Use of maybe a neutral density filter might have cut back on the glare.

Nice capture of a natural event. Few things I see is that focus is really unsharp. Also there is a roughness to the image, which indicates you tried sharpening, but it created a harsh, unattractive effect. Color is also too yellow, which might mean your white balance was off as well.

In response to kronodil, the image is actually of a fly resting on a pink flower. I decided to flip the image over so that it was actually upside down. Made the image a bit more difficult to tell what it actually was. I was very surprised at the score. I have been sweating all week, figuring that with the uncomplimentary comments it would be lucky to hit even 10%. So its placement was way better than I expected. Thanks to all who saw the neat things I saw with this shot.
