Liked the concept really well. There is quite a bit of grain, though, in the image, especially in the background. Some cameras have a setting that reduces noise in the image. Also, if you have a TIF setting on your camera, as I do, I find that using it for these challenges create too large a file to compress down to the requirements of the challenge.

Very finely detailed. You did an especially good job on the eyes. I didn't care for the real close cropping though. Without seeing other less cropped images I can't say if this is the best or not. The other possibility is to crop it further to focus on just the eyes, nose and maybe a bit of the ear. I just posted a bunch of photos of my cat Tiny. Have a look and see if they seem decent or if they need work.

Did you get a lot of flak about your shadow shot? I know I did. Apparently, nobody appreciates shadows in long exposures. Yours is probably better than mine. At least you have part of it in focus, which was the main bad comment about mine.

Not sure what you did. It looks as if you moved the camera up to get the streaks of light. It does show motion, but there seems to be to much exposure on the pins. Did you try to get perhaps a bowling ball going down the alley? The colors are really nice on the shot, but it seems that the technique didn't work.
